This one-shot of KIB: Black Panther should have dropped on Feb 10. It depicted Knull’s invasion of Wakanda. And these are the other three Demon Days variants I got.

This one-shot of KIB: Black Panther should have dropped on Feb 10. It depicted Knull’s invasion of Wakanda. And these are the other three Demon Days variants I got.

Wonder Woman got a miniseries that was digital first and this was it gotten printed, it was finally time for DC’s Infinite Frontier (the new era in DC continuity, numbering was unchanged but new stories started), Batman had an upcoming Scarecrow event (the threads of which started here), the mutants answer Molly’s call regarding Krakoa, the penultimate issue of the Phoenix Avengers event was this issue, Logan helped the Power Pack out, We got the KIB handbook, the invasion continued, the artist Peach Momoko wrote and drew her own AU X-Men title (it’s been pretty wonderful and of course her art is spectacular, hence I got that variant and I loved all the variants so I got the other ones too which will be in the next post), and America Chavez got a new run (quite traumatic for her but a great read).

Maestro heard that the Pantheon were still alive and headed for them, Carol was still in the future, Peter and MJ needed some time to themselves, the second issue of Generations happened, FS Superman House of El dropped, in X-Men we got to see what happened into The Vault (a lot happened, decades happened. Some things have still yet to be resolved today), the KIB invasion continued, Marvel Voices: Legacy special was released (got the poster for the A Cover the week before this), Marvels Snapshots started a Captain Marvel storyline, and Ms. Marvel got to its 75th issue (which was also the end of this run), a lot was going on for her.

Ah yes, the Batman/Catwoman series gave us the first comic appearance of the Phantasm from the animated Batman movie epic: Mask of the Phantasm, the Olympian god return with a vengeance against the Quill, Oh, I guess I forgot that Iron Fist got a new run, Jessica Drew was not having a good time at Wundagore, Hulk got another one-shot, Tony headed to space to stop Korvac even when greatly injured, Donald Blake went after Jane after learning she became not only Thor but a Valkyrie, the Champions sought refuge with Cyclops and the Marauders for a while (I think this is the first time since the young X-Men returned to their time, and the current versions of each of them retained all the memories from those past selves, that the Champions had seen Cyclops again), and the KIB continued his onslaught.

DC got a Valentine’s Day special, Vader passed through the Red Terror as he headed towards what he’d learn to be Exegol, Quentin makes good on life after death, the Eternals had a Thanos problem, and everyone was doing badly during KIB.

Since I saw that Star Wars insider magazine would now have canon prose stories in them in each issue, I had to get subscribe via my store. And there was an issue of the comic history of animation.

Some of the Runaways dealt with high school, the battle for the Phoenix still went on, Hulk and co. got confronted by the U-FOES, Eddie was having a bad tie of things, KIB was generally a bad tie anyway, though Valkyrie attempted to save Sentry’s soul, IDW joined in on the High Republic era with The High Republic Adventures, Future State continued, and Harley and the BOP ended it’s run.
Many posters below.

The two above are just classic covers that probably were TB’s in the following week to promote Morbius and Falcon & the Winter Soldier respectively. And below is the promo art for what would come after Future State. Infinite Frontier was the new era soon to come.

This run of Shang-Chi ended, Carol and co. were dealing with a crazy king, the Ultimate Nullifier makes an appearance, Wolverine was looking for his body parts, more KIB, and issue two of TOHOTDU focusing on Bumblebee and Mal.

Maestro got a new run, the next rounds of Phoenix’s contest happened, Thor took on Knull (Oh, by the way, in KIB 1, everything went badly, all the Valkyrie’s were slaughtered Sentry was beaten in a second, and earth fell very quickly after that), Felicia had some Toxin fun, Rogol had survived into the time of the LoSH and came to finish what he started, we got a FS for Clark (this is similar to what’s happening in present day with Clark), and we got FS Immortal Wonder Woman which was very good.

Ochi tested Vader, we got a Chris Claremont special, Leader’s plans had come to fruition, Spidey was still having a bad time of things after Last Remains, Gwen’s MJ got taken by Knull and made into Carnage, KIB was just generally doing quite well, in DC they began the era of Future State (this was a time where all titles got paused and they focused on stories in the potential future of DC. Some of which would come to pass, others wouldn’t. This lasted for a couple months. I didn’t really know what they were doing, I thought all of this was a kind of Elseworld event and none of it really mattered if it was all potential futures, so I didn’t get a lot of them beyond characters I always enjoy), the first of these were Justice League, with these younger generations having taken over (which is basically what they are about to start with “killing off” the JL in JL 75), Dark Detective, and Kara Zor-El Superwoman (this one I liked the most I think because it was more accurate to what I thought Future State would be, either solely potentially or far enough in thee future that the story didn’t matter, whereas a lot of FS was set in the near future).
