The Marvel Midnight titles started, set on vampire earth, basically Marvel’s DC vs Vampires. I’m really just getting the variants and covers that I like and the main issues will be going to me friend who’s interested in the titles. There was a G.I. Joe crossover with Tomb Raider. Sam and Dean titles spun out of the Supernatural comic. Basically, they saw that that book sold well and they decided to make more money off of the franchise. Both Jonah Hex and Etrigan got new runs, respectively. Bad Seeds continued. And we got DC Halloween special featuring Raven.

These are the variants I got for the Fantastic Four Midnight 1. The first variant is a Gist variant that’s paying homage to John Carpenter’s The Thing poster. The second variant is the first of the connecting variant set for these Midnight issues by Clayton Crain.

I love that both of these Frison variants of two separate titles look fantastic!

The main cover is such a creative design! It’s by Martín Morazzo and Chris O’Halloran. And the variant is a gorgeous Taurin Clarke cover.

I feel like it’s been a long time since I last had a Tedesco variant. I thought that this was by someone else when I first saw it. And the blank variant for Etrigan’s new number one.

Batgirl variants!

The Forbes variant looks great! And the other one is an Eom design. It looks so different than usual, so I kept forgetting who made it.

I love this main cover by Sweeney Boo.

So many issues. We got a Matriarch-focused special in-relation to Wonder War. Kingdom of Zod ended with a special. We’re halfway through the Bad Seeds event. Vampirella and Witchblade got a crossover special. We got a Fantastic Four First Foes special focusing on Dragon Man. The last Marvel Mangaverse one-shot dropped. The final issue of Ultimate Impact Reborn arrived. The Queen in Black event ended. DNX continued. This is the final issue of Sorcerer Supreme. And the 1000th issue of Amazing Spider-Man crashed through. Also, I did get around 10 or so variants for it, but I didn’t want to add all that expense to this month, so I’ll pick them up in November.

The first variant is a classic Montes virgin variant. The other two are the next Mercado variant and the next blank variant.

So many Jenny Frison variants! One variant was missing, so I’ll have these on a complete variant post whenever it arrives. But it’s so cool to see color and black and white.

This variant is a Barends variant. And the FF First Foes main cover is a Noto cover.

This is the next main cover for the Mangaverse bunch by Yuji Kaku.

And the variant is by Kenny Ruiz, who does the art in the issue itself.

Sightseer looks great on this Leinil Francis Yu and Dean White main cover. And the variant that I got is a Dike Ruan design. I really wish that this had also gotten a foil treatment, but just on the Lightning from them both.

This main cover is by Rod Reis, I got it because of Apocalypse. And we got a Nogi San variant featuring Jubilee.

These are the two Venom variants that I liked.

The first is a gorgeous R. B. Silva variant. And the other variant is by Amanda Conner. It reminds me of something else, but I can’t place it.

We got introduced to Absolute Batgirl. Bruce versus Lex!? Bad Seeds continued. We got a Muppets Marvel special. Gambit got another miniseries based on the Age of Apocalypse Gambit in present day. Logan took on the Infernal Hulk. The next Marvel Mangaverse issue dropped. We got the next Mischief of Magpies issue from DSTLRY, finally.

When I first saw this cover online, it looked very much orange. But then it ended up red, but it still looks great, so bravo Mike Perkins. And this Absolute Batgirl cover is by Sozomaika.

Love this John Stewart cover by David Aja. This Taurin Clarke cover is of course depicting the characters of the epic DC show Lanterns.

The next variants for JLU. The Szerdy variant looks great! Cathy Kwan did a great job at this Batman and Supergirl variant. The Jessica Cruz variant is by José Ladrönn. And the Lanterns (great show) variant is by Dave Wilkins (I think it’s been a while since I’ve had a cover by him).

The Queen in Black event was nearing its end. And the DNX event Started. We got the next Marvel Mangaverse title with Arcane Avengers. Gargoyles continued its new run. And we got the next Exquisite Corpses spin-off focusing on the Fox Mask Killer.

I’m happy that this character got a spin-off title since her design is one of the reasons that got me interested in the Exquisite Corpses comic.
