We got the next issue of Planet She-Hulk. A lot is going on in Avengers. Thor is having serpent problems. We got the penultimate issue of Battleworld. The final issue of Jedi Knights dropped. Black Panther got a new run started set in space. I think this is the last issue of this arc in Wonder Woman. The Joker/Lex fusion continued in World’s Finest. Guy Gardner pops into Superman Unlimited. DCKO’s next rounds arrive with Cyborg vs Swamp Thing and then Harley vs Zatanna.
The next Endeavour issue.
A Knullified Moon Knight variant by Barends.
A Knullified Vision and a Stitch homage variant.
The next fantastic Alex Ross Thor cover.
The variants of the final issue of Jedi Knights!
I love the Japanese aesthetic of these covers. I couldn’t help but get them. And the Hetrick one (the main cover) is just amazing.
The next Nakayama and Homare variants. I like that this Nakayama cover is different that his usual ones. And this is the last Homare variant for Wonder Woman. Though, I missed one of the variants, so the Homare variants weren’t included in the next blog post.
I love this cover of Lana and Krypto by Szerdy.
So many variants by artists I love! Jamal Campbell gave us a fun cover where Zatanna and Harley are breaking out of trading cards to fight. Mirka Andolfo did the next fun variant. Frank Cho and Sabine Rich gave us a classic cover of their usual design aesthetic. And David Nakayama gave us a fun cover.
We got introduced to Absolute Joker in Absolute Batman. The younger Green Lanterns take the stage in Green Lantern Corps. DCKO continued with Aquaman vs Hawkman and then Diana vs Lobo. After 4 months since the previous issue, we got the final issue of Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories – Codebreaker. The next, and close to final, issues from the Ultimate universe dropped. Flash Thompson and Cindy Moon popped in to Ghost-Spider’s title. Peter had boat-loads of fun in space. The Age of Revelation continued. And we got the beginning of The End: 2099. A nice short week of comics.
Taurin Clarke did a fantastic job with this cover of Damian and Bruce! I love this use of shadows.
The next Supergirl covers.
Elizabeth Torque drew Diana and Lobo so well! And Sabine Rich colored them brilliantly! Almost like a wrestling poster. And love this Vampirella cover by Leirix.
Jessica Fong illustrated Elspeth gorgeously on this variant cover. The variant is by Magali Villeneuve, I got this because of Erebos being on the cover.
So, blind bags are annoying. Let me say it again, blind bags are annoying. They are even more so when the possibilities in the bags are stupidly chosen. For example, I got two blind bags to hope to get the Nakayama variant. And the two covers I got were just the normal C and D covers. There are variants that are only in the blind bags, and there are incentive covers which seemingly aren’t in the bags, and then they frustratingly added the normal variants. Personally, I don’t think normal variants that you can get without the blind bag being inside the blind bag is just stupid and insulting to the customers.
The D cover is a nice variant by Clayton Crain. And cover C is a fun holiday variant by Jared Callum.
We got a Gist variant for Han and Chewie. Meghan Hetrick gave us a great Ghost-Spider variant. Kendrick Lim did this fantastic cover with Fantasma and Robbie Reyes’ Ghost Rider.
Since the last CVS post, I got the missing issue I needed for those next 5 Phoenix covers! So here’s the next issues after those! Thank you Lucas Werneck!
I love how the fire looks on these, but I very much love the new costume! These are just amazing!
Only one new box this time. So, we’re at 109! Though, since I was so delayed, the next week of new comics is already here, so hopefully I will be on time for the next posts. And perhaps I’ll have to add more boxes next Sunday.
Again, very late posting, see the previous post to see why.
There are a couple NSFW covers in this post.
Bruce is having a robotic problem. This is the final issue for this run of Birds of Prey. The Spectre shows up in JSA. This is the penultimate issue for Cheetah and Cheshire’s heist. DCKO continues. The next Doctor Who issue drops. The penultimate issue for this run of Miles Morales: Spider-Man arrived. A new Spider-Man emerges in Venom 252. Age of Revelation continues. We got a Ultimate Universe: Two Years In one-shot. Doctor Strange started a new run! And Wiccan got his first solo title!
Posters are also below!
Another David Aja variant and the next bat-gadget variant.
Reiko Murakami did a great job on this Batgirl variant! Love this Superman Rahzzah variant! I got another copy of this Knightfight cover for the Richard’s Batman. Derrick Chew does another great Vampirella cover.
NSFW warning again.
The main cover is by Carla Cohen. The second one is by Yasmine. The (NSFW) third one is by BRÄO. All fantastic covers!
Bengal did a great job with this clone wars variant. I always like design variants. I don’t play the Marvel Rivals game, but I liked this design. This next one is a nice homage cover for this Venom Spider-Man look. And here’s another Apocalypse cover.
The next Ultimate X-Men covers, the main one and both variants.
This is the treatment I wanted for the 450th issue! Love these covers for this new Doctor Strange run!
The main cover is by Alex Horley, I like the colors and shading. The second variant is an incentive cover by Geoff Shaw. Third is of course Taurin Clarke. Fan Yang did this amazing Angela variant! Mateus Manhanini did a great Knullified variant. I still am waiting on another variant to show up for these.
Love all these covers too!! Wonderful artists and amazing designs!
The main cover is by Lucas Werneck of course. The second one is a Villalobos variant. Dauterman gave us that third amazing variant. And Luciano Vecchio did a brilliant job on this last one!!
Posters! I didn’t get this comic, but the cover is fun.
Oliver is on a warpath and Kyle is in the way. Harley is on a trip. Lois and Bruce are working together. This is the penultimate issue of this Trinity run. DC gave us a Christmas special. The next main issue of DCKO dropped as-well-as various tie-ins. The next issue of Supernatural arrived. Daredevil and Punisher got a miniseries. Hulk got a new run titles Infernal Hulk where his body is taken over. The next Age of Revelation X-titles dropped. And DSTLRY gave us a new title, Galactic.
A great main cover by Amilcar Pinna.
A fun graffiti variant by Vasco Georgiev.
The next variants for Harley. Nakayama and Rahzzah covers. There is so much detail in the Rahzzah cover! I mean normally they’re very detailed. But still!
This Green Arrow cover resembles another recent Green Arrow variant. I love this fun Death in the Family homage Trinity variant. It’s Darksied graffiti but it’s still his face, haha. I liked the creative JLA cover. Shredderrrr! Happy to see a Gist cover.
The next street-verse variant. I’m not sure what the “From the Chaos” theme is, but I really liked this character design.
A fantastic homage cover!
Love this Chew variant! Another Street-verse variant.
This is the new Venom version of Spider-Man? I think? Looks cool though.
Such fantastic covers! The Alex Ross cover is so detailed. I love it! We have another Mirka Andolfo variant! Enchantress looks good. That street-verse variant is great!
Street verse and a foil cover!
The next covers with Kamala on them.
Always happy for a Cable cover.
The variants for Galactic.
A slightly NSFW variant by the ever-amazing Tula Lotay.
VERY LATE with these next posts. It was a crazy week last week. I had to move the day I normally get comics to four days after and that delay delayed taking photos and thus, making these posts.
May’s DWM issue. A Marvel Zombies reprint in 3D (came with the classic glasses). A Direct Market variant for the TMNT/Naruto crossover by David Nakayama. The connecting variant of the Robin volume of Kami Garcia and Gabriel Picolo’s Titans journey. I always forget that there are two variants for each of those books. And then five late variants, one I chose to wait to buy, and the next volume of Ultimate X-Men.
Happy to have this Kelleran Beq variant! Of course I had to get this variant with Galactus on it. Dani Moonstar looks amazing in this Villalobos variant. Wanda looks amazing as the new Sorcerer Supreme. And the AoA X-Men look great on this Paco Medina and Jesus Aburtov cover.
I did mess up a little bit with these covers but nothing big. This run is 15 issues and I thought all of them were drawn by this artist, but the last 5 are someone else. So I thought I had one more issue to go before posting these. Nope!
So, Yasmine Putri did such an amazing job on these covers! The fire looks fantastic! And the black shapes and small details blend together well. And that last one is gorgeous!
They look brilliant together!
The main covers for the New History of the DC Universe! Now, I love them, but I do wish that either all the covers were wraparound ones or none were. But I do love that first wraparound. It’s just nice to see all these eras together.
Gorgeous! Thank you to Chris Samnee and Giovanna Niro!
JTC is just so good at action figure cover! So many different styles. These Godzilla character covers are fantastic!
I was going to line them in a row, but I liked this configuration.
The last set is this Godzilla with marvel character powers covers (Marvelized). These are so fun! Dave Wachter did a great job!
This would be a crazy team-up if they made a comic with these different Marvel Godzilla’s.
SO MANY COMICS. I couldn’t fit them all on the bed! I also forgot one in the first photo, hence the second photo.
We got a Marvel Holiday special. The final issue of Godzilla Destroys the Marvel Universe arrived (but it’s not the end of the story). We got the final issue of One World Under Doom. The first issue of a new run of Nova (probably a miniseries). New Age of Revelation titles. X-Men from the Age of Apocalypse arrived in present-day in X-Men of Apocalypse. Starship Godzilla continued. The Lion King got a comic miniseries. Lex and Joker attempt to work together in this World’s Finest issue. JLRed seem to be under new management. The Titans got a DCKO issue. We got the next Superman unlimited issue. And finally, the second DC/Marvel crossover one-shot dropped with Batman/Deadpool, with many variants, hence they got their own photo.
The next streetverse (still a weird name) variant from InHyuk Lee. And a Toy Story variant that I got solely because of Zurg being in the corner box. But also, it’s a fun cover.
The main cover is just fantastic from Mark Brooks. This is the last issue, so also the last variants. They’ll be in the next post.
InHyuk Lee and Yasmine Putri creating great art!
JTC made an amazing color bleed of AoA’s Weapon X. Fan Yang drew Blink gorgeously. Artgerm did a masterful Rogue. And Mark Brooks gave us another classic Disney animation styled cover with this Gambit.
The next Jedi Knights covers! The first one is by John Giang. Such a great cover! And the other two are the next in each of their respective sets.
The next is the final past rangers variant of this set, but I still have to get the first issue’s variant. The other is a lovely Frison cover. I’m so used to knowing her covers from the way she draws eyes, so I almost forgot that this was a variant I needed, haha.
More amazing Jenny Frison! I’m going to either frame or slab that second one.
Alessio Zonno drew Zedd and Leonardo so well! And there’s the only variant I wanted from the Lion King covers.
Nakayama and Homare respectively doing Diana proud!
Haining makes this Flash look so good! And here’s another fun creative cover for Nightwing! And I love this homage to the old DCAU.
Red Canary! Yup.
Startfire looking great from Guillem March!
These are all the Batman/Deadpool covers that I got. There were others, but I liked these the most. That first one is the main cover.
Dan Mora doing work! They both look great!
Alexander Lozano making Diana and Carol look fantastic! Sean Murphy had fun with Lobo and Wade. Bruno Redondo had Laura and Richard paired up well. Hayden Sherman brought Constantine and Stephen together. We got an homage cover from Bill Sienkiewicz. Lee Bermejo made Joker and Doom look ghoulish. A nice blue blank variant. Mark Brooks made Wanda and Zatanna look amazing!! Jim Cheung gave us another Diana and Steve cover. Jenny Frison brought it on with Ororo and Diana. And Jae Lee made Barda have some issues with Rogue. So many amazing covers! There were 11 others that I didn’t get!
Now, Batman started a new run. But apparently the Hush2 event didn’t end, they just paused it and started a new run. Very weird. So, here’s the continuing Hush event with this issue. Poison Ivy got an annual that had a Lady of the Lake theme going (no, I’m not caught up, I just knew about that already). It’s Thanksgiving in Supergirl’s book. Mr. Terrific is dealing with a god. Arthur is dealing with Darksied-related issues. Batman Beyond and Future Static Shock got a team-up miniseries! The reverse Gargoyles-Fantastic Four crossover issue came out. And a Godzilla/ TMNT crossover miniseries started! Predator: Badlands got a prequel one-shot comic. Marvel started a miniseries set in 1776. Spider-Girl’s seemingly penultimate issue dropped. Felicia’s plan isn’t going as she planned at the FF’s headquarters. Eddie is dealing with a lot during this Carnage issue. I think this is the final Red Hulk issue during the Doom event, this is an epilogue kind of issue. The Age of Revelation continues across the X-titles. The next issues of Strange Tales and Spider-Man 94 arrived. And so did the next DSTLRY title.
I love this Poison Ivy variant! Thank you Seb McKinnon. And it’s been years since I’ve had a cover by Colleen Doran, I like this Superman variant. Kara looks great in that minimalist background thanks to Amy Reeder. Whenever I see an homage to Akira, it’s a must, this CORT main cover by Daniele Di Nicuolo and Rain Beredo looks great! And that last cover has Darksied on it, so, there we go.
The main cover for this issue is so good! Nikolas Draper-Ivey always does great work. And the variant is of course by Rahzzah, and it’s amazing as usual.
The Gargoyles/ FF covers I got. The first one is the main cover by Lucio Parrillo. The non-blank is of course by Nicoletta Baldari. And the blank is the blank.
It may not be labeled as a Saturday morning cartoon cover, but Galloway did a great job with this cartoon cover! I remember watching that animated Godzilla show, and of course the 90’s TMNT show too. A blank for this too.
A background foil cover from David Nakayama! It looks great! And I also ordered the second printing of this comic since it seems to be a non-foil version of this cover.
Both Jenny Frison and InHyuk Lee doing Sue Storm good. They both look amazing!
I like the main cover of this for the legacy aspect of showing Eddie’s past. And it’s weird seeing Carnage in a coat, haha.
The next Spider-Man ‘94 JTC variant and the animation variant!
