Nightwing still had a Heartless problem, Selina had a very successful bounty hunter after her, Supergirl got a run spinning out of her Future State story (though this was set hundreds of years before that FS story. This ended recently and it was such a unique story, I enjoyed it a lot), Wally was still blasting through time and unfortunately for him, he wound up back at the site of the Sanctuary disaster, Static got a new run out of Milestone’s comeback, Loki was having a time in the Mighty Valkyries, Doom’s wedding was upon us and everyone was invited (which meant A LOT of drama. Never mind what was to come.), the next issue of Peach Momoko’s X-story dropped, WOTBH continued, the origin behind the clones were revealed to Miles, the Hellfire Gala continued (as printing was still out of order, Planet-size X-Men really came out a bit earlier than it should have. Also, this issue had a really important event occur that changed everything), X-corp debuted the week before and I didn’t realize that a mutant character I liked and hadn’t seen in a while was in it, so I didn’t get issue 1 right away (this was the corporate side of Krakoa that dealt with all the financials and business aspects of what the mutants had created), Infinite Destinies continued and Venom’s 200th issue dropped.

These should have come out at the end of May. This was part of Heroes Reborn where what would be the Champions became Young Squadron.

WOTBH continued, the COTA heard about the Hellfire Gala and wondered if they could attend, we got the origin of Korvac, the new X-Men team was voted in (by all the mutants in-story, and by the fans in real life), the next issue of MTG happened with a Rakdos threat rising, a lot was happening in Gotham, Diana discovered what happened to the Valkyries, and DC dropped its Pride special (the designs for this year’s have been shared and they look great!).

As the power battery was destroyed, thousands of Green Lanterns died or were stranded or incapacitated, John Stewart was one of the stranded in hostile territory, the Magistrate program had been approved by the mayor and Bruce battled Peacekeeper-01, Crush and Lobo got a miniseries, the Batman TAC got a second run, this run of Iron Fist ended, Felicia had some wins and then came the consequences, the Chameleon Conspiracy started in Spider-man, Hulk took on the Avengers again, the prelude event Infinite Destinies started (this involved the six individuals who were inhabited by/merged with the Infinity Gems), War of the Bounty Hunters started, and the Hellfire Gala had begun (this would be the most influential mutant event in recent history, other than X of Swords and the Krakoan age generally).

Harley had Hugo Strange problems, Maestro had Doom to deal with, Nimrod was online, Miles’ Clone Saga continued, Huntress had t out for Batman, Clark and Jon saved a couple of people from a crashing ship who spoke an ancient Kyptonian language, the Suicide Squad attacked TT Academy, Robin vs Flatline, the Milestone imprint returned to DC so there was a return special to celebrate which spun out into three returning titles, Stargirl got a Spring Break special, we got two more WOTBH preludes, the next issue of DC’s Other History featuring The Question (Renee Montoya’s version), and this iconic Black Panther run came to an end at issue 25 with a massive battle.

Selina found Ivy, Nightwing got a terrifying new villain who rips people hearts out of them, Naomi and the JL went to her earth and things went poorly, Wally was still hopping through minds, Yara got her own title under Wonder Girl, issue two of Laila Starr dropped, Shang-Chi got a new run, both Valkyrie’s were busy with dangerous individuals, Future Gert, we got another Hulk special, Spidey wa recovering from the events of King’s Ransom, the Champions were infiltrating, and we got another WOTBH prelude.

(totally random side-note, today (April 14, 2022) I got comics and also got a nice surprise from the owners of the store. I love my store : ) )

Got these late. this DWM issue came with an exclusive Target DW book. And Way of X had started. Kurt was looking to start a mutant religion, he just wasn’t quite sure where to start.

MTG dropped issue two, I got that Future State: Gotham 1 for the cover, Felicia had a lot going on, Jessica had a set of annoying brothers on her tail, the new Guardians arc continued, we got the next WOTBH prelude, Jon and Clark faced an unexpectedly difficult opponent, Diana had to face her darkest self, it was time for more FF drama, Johnny having ex issues, check, Doom wanted something crazy of Reed, check, all sorts of craziness about to happen, check, Fisk’s plan all came to a head in the King’s Ransom special, and DC gave us a special celebrating Asian heroes and their cultures, and their foods!

The second photo is of Funko Pops I got at my LCS, had to get that Mark III Ironheart and of course the HUGE Galactus.

A Guardian was dead, we got introduced to a new character in Batman named Miracle Molly (one of the Unsanity Collective), the classic story: Thanos Quest got a reprinting in one volume, Storm had big changes in mind, Big things were happening in Hulk, America meets someone who is part of a past she doesn’t remember, Fisk hired everyone to get Boomerang and Spidey, the event Heroes Reborn started (II didn’t actually get many of these just because it didn’t look like a substantial event, but it had some influence on things, so I bought the collected edition which should arrive in July of this year.), and finally, the prelude to an event I got every issue from arrived, SW’s first major event of this era: War of the Bounty Hunters (this told the story of the moment Han got flown away on Slave I to the moment he was dropped off at Jabba’s palace. Yes, there was a lot between those two points.)

Mr. Worth was quite a crazy Batman character XD, the Warworld story in AC was beginning, the TT Academy was having problems on day one, Damian got a title all his own where he participated in a very deadly tournament (that arc ended recently), the 50th Anniversary of Man-Thing continued with another special, Miles got his own Clone Saga arc, Reed and Ben went exploring through the Forever Gate and found quite an expressive place, Silk was busy with a cat demon, Vader landed on Exegol, we got the guide for the first Krakoan Hellfire Gala (the second one is happening soon), and the next SW Insider.

I liked the cover for the guide, hence the standalone image, and then some more DWM issues.
