That was such a fun movie!

It was a relatively simple plot with a couple twists.

The animation was fantastic as Universal animation usually is. I will see this again in 3D soon since there were certainly shots that will look amazing.

The characters were all enjoyable and fun. The leads were relatable and the chemistry between them (even in animation) worked really well. They had a short time to show us the connection between them and it was done effectively.

The music was a mixture of modern and what I can assume is known Filipino music. The score worked really well. And there were great needle-drops!

The message was also communicated well. I would be interested in more from this world. An animated series would be fun since there’s so much to explore.

I am certainly excited to see this again!

Mid-credit scene: Nope, but there are photos in the mid-credits that show what I can assume are the cast and crew and their best friends. Certainly a nice way to end.
