SO many issues over this past month. Jeez.
We got introduced to a new Pennyworth in this Batman issue. Apparently, we may have a new Spectre. The final issue of this run of Gotham Academy dropped. We got the first issue of Iman Vellani’s first comic being the sole writer. It’s an original idea and the character is based on her. Death Vigil got a new run started by Stjepan Šejić. Jughead got a new title started. We got a new Green Ranger comic. To celebrate the Fantastic Four’s 65th Anniversary, we got both a book showing covers from all those years, and a celebratory issue. The Marvel Tōkon game got a prequel comic that takes place directly before the story events of the game. We got a What If story focusing on Steve. There was an X-Men of Apocalypse one-shot. And Mary Jane got an issue to celebrate her own 60th Anniversary.

The final issue for Endeavor.

A lovely Lotay variant of Sojourner Mullein. Then another Eom variant for Batgirl. The next I got because a version of Spectre is on that cover. I really love this main cover for Deadman by Martín Morazzo and Chris O’Halloran.

Something about these shades of blue really caught my eye beyond the actual artists of the covers. But, yes, Rod Reis’s main cover and the Taurin Clarke cover are just amazing!

I think I’m going to slab this cover. I mean look at it!

I put this as an Image instead of in a Gallery because it’s written by the wonderful Iman Vellani! Our MCU’s Kamala Khan. I’m so excited that after her writing the Ms. Marvel comic run she got to craft her own comic! I also decided to read this after taking the photo. So intriguing! She based the main character on herself. I certainly saw her personality in the writing. The cover is by Marianna Ignazzi.

Since I’ve been following Stjepan Šejić for years, I couldn’t remember if Death Vigil had come out before and this was a new run, or that this was the debut. These covers are so good! The main cover and the third variant are both by Stjepan.

The first variant that I got is by Sozomaika. The character looks like Sephiroth and that scythe is glorious! The next is by Mirka Andolfo, it kind of looks like one of her Mercy covers. And there’s the blank variant.

JEN BARTEL RETURNS!!!!!! When I saw that she had some covers coming out, I was like WHAT?????? YAAAAY!!! I love her work and have missed her art over the past 3 years. she’s made the Archie quad look great! And, there are more covers by her in the next week’s post.

I love the colors!

The first one is a connecting cover by Chris Mooneyham for this title. And double blank variants!

The fantastic main cover is by Simone Di Meo. And I’m happy that we have a new classic Disney animation style cover by Mark Brooks.

This first variant is by Alexander Lozano. It’s the first of an 80’s-themed set a cross titles. And the other variant is a Mary Jane cover by Meghan Hetrick.

This Bermejo variant is amazing! Such a great homage cover! And this is the next Pixar 40th anniversary variant. The complete set of these will look great! This one is by Ryan Stegman.

I also managed to get the Simone Di Meo variant online. So included it here anyway.

Betsy Cola gifted us with Capt Rubber Duck!

I always love seeing Humberto Ramos on a main cover. It’s fun! The foil variant is another by Marcos Martín. The Pixar anniversary homage cover looks good. And we got an Anka variant of Sue. Also. We got another Ramos cover that was an homage cover to the first FF cover.

Stephanie Hans did this fantastic variant cover. InHyuk Lee gave us this gorgeous Hela cover. And the last variant is a Chip Zdarsky one, and I don’t think I’ve had a cover by his in years.

Another great Momoko variant!

I love the main cover of this MJ issue by Jim Cheung and Jay David Ramos. The first variant that I got is by JeeHyung Lee. And I love the Nakayama variant!
