Doom and his mother having drama, Thanos goes to the God Quarry (which is just such a cool place), a ton of things ramping up in Secret Empire before a big issue, and that Edge of the Venomverse issue was intriguing having him deal with both a symbiote and a Spirit of Vengeance.

Drama everywhere. XD And stores were giving out those little Cosmic Cubes as promotional freebies.

Titans drama, another Dark Days special before Metal started, young Jean and Odinson team-up, more venomverse stuff, a first issue of a sequel event to Spider-Men, Spider-Men II, and Vader taking on a very strong Jedi post-Order 66.

Ah yes, Bat and Cat were beginning a long story to a certain ending eventually, Deathstroke was kind of forced into starting a super team or heroes, Black Bolt was dealing with space prison, and more Secret Empire. Next post is a movie reaction from later in the day this day.

This is another day where I got what was left in my box during June. July 4 is also my store’s anniversary, so they have a sale.

More of the same really, though there is that Edge of the Venomverse issue over there and Riri meeting Doom.

Oh right, it just dawned on me more of what that Maul miniseries was about, after seeing this cover, it was about his first encounter with a jedi. Thor introduced the War Thor, Doctor Strange was having magic problems, and a new Hulk was being introduced.

Oh! This was the beginnings of the whole Dark Knights multi-event plot. Defenders got a new run, and a whole lot of Secret Empire going on. Oh and just all the Flash drama.

Jon Kent was having issues with his powers, Viv Vision was feeling things about the team, G.I.R.L. was starting out, Nova drama, Iceman got a title and it was really quite amazing, I’d certainly recommend it.

So this was me picking up issues that weren’t event-related during a new month. There was so much going on! Ego, the Living Planet had a daughter, Medusa was dealing with her powers fading, Gwen was being hunted, all sorts of Superpeople action happening.
