Scarface is back in Batman and Robin. Lantern Corps clash in GLC. Wonder Woman got a Black and Gold one-shot 2026 special. The next main issue of DC KO dropped. The final issue of Legacy of Vader arrived. Mutina returns in Uncanny X-Men. We got another Doom event spin-off via Dungeons of Doom. Luna Snow got a new one-shot. Peach Momoko gave us a new title focusing on her character Sai. Knull got his own title. And Avengers got to its 800th issue!!

The next Supergirl covers! The main cover is by Sophie Campbell. Chrissie Zullo-Uminga did the fun first variant. Lucas Meyer did the second variant. The punk rock (4th) one is a fun one by Marguerite Sauvage. And the last one is a Fanyang cover.

Carla Cohen did this amazing Zatanna variant! And Sanford Greene did this Darksied attacking cover.

John Timms did a great job with this Aquaman cover. I really like the way the hair looks. Noto gave us a nice MJ, Peter and Gwen variant. And Nakayama gave us a gorgeous Black Cat cover

The main cover is by Gurihiru of course, the first variant is by Leirix and the next one is by Fanyang!

Momoko did the main cover, as usual. The first variant is by Iban Coello. Stan Sakai did the next variant. There were a couple variants that I still want.

The main cover is of course by Ryan Stegman. The two variants are by Rafael Albuquerque and Iban Coello respectively. there are four more variants that I’m waiting for.

The main cover and one of the variants for this issue. The main cover is of course by Dauterman, it’s part of a connecting cover set while also a wraparound set. It’s weird. And the variant is a fun legacy one by CAFU.

I guess I didn’t say it for any of the previous posts, but, Happy New Year!

We have a new villain being promoted in this Batman issue, The Ōjō (previously Lady Death Man). Absolute Batman got a one-shot. Ivy seems to be doing well. A new arc starts in Absolute Superman. The Cheetah and Cheshire miniseries ended with this issue. We got a facsimile edition of an amalgam story featuring Spider-Boy (Peter Parker and Conner Kent (Kon-El)) from the 90’s. Power Rangers got a new miniseries started. Richard Rider’s Nova got a new run. Ultimate X-Men got it’s penultimate issue. Silver Sable pays Logan a visit. Silk and Gwen team up. And this facsimile edition of this comic is from Superman and Spider-Man’s first meeting. Though this is a huge version of the issue. I think it’s larger than a library edition, or if not, then it’s that size.

The next fantastic Ultimate X-Men covers, including a connection variant.

The next Batman variants.

Such a cool new character design! Love the hair and the light swords.

Such a great Swaby variant of Ivy. A great Andolfo variant! I really like this Murakami main cover for Batgirl. Another main cover was the final issue of the Cheshire and Cheetah miniseries by Nicola Scott and Annette Kwok. And the Knightfight main cover by Dan Mora looks so clean!

More great Shredder covers! the art is just gorgeous. Thank you to Michele Bandini and Marco Lesko for the main cover and Dike Ruan for the variant.

Speaking of Shredder, I loved this cover of Godzilla reflecting on Shredder’s helmet. And this is such a great homage cover imitating the legendary Death of Superman cover from Superman #75 (January 93).

The penultimate set of Ultimate X-Men covers! Though I think I was missing one or two variants since they were incentive covers.

I liked this Bermejo cover because it seemed to be paying homage to Punisher’s first issue where he’s aiming at Spidey. Information on the Superman/Spidey comic is above.

December 2025 Late Issues 3

WOW. I don’t think I’ve ever totally forgotten to make posts before. I just got comics today from this week and last week, and I was going to make a post for the two weeks previous, but then realized that I hadn’t made any normal posts of comics that came out in 2026 yet! Good thing no one follows here yet and I don’t have to be embarrassed about it in real-time, haha.

Now to make 20 ish posts! XD

I decided to try two more times with the blind bags and then I also go the blank variant all for Ultimate Endgame 1.

I was again unsuccessful with getting the variant I wanted. After this, I decided to bite the bullet and buy it online for way too much money.

Completed Variant Sets 30 — January 11, 2026

I almost forgot that the Wanda cover was part of this set! These all are amazing covers by InHyuk Lee.

This set was so close to being properly connecting! The third issue was a millimeter ish of overlap with the second issue. And the first issue was overlap plus misaligned with the second. it really is a fantastic design though. I really wish they perfect this printing process or just pivot to wraparounds and gatefold variants.

No added boxes.

December 31, 2025

A nice small week of comics. DC doesn’t release any issues in the last week of the month.

The Bad Batch got a new miniseries. The final issue of Age of Revelation dropped. The first issue of the final story of this version of the Ultimate Universe dropped with Ultimate Endgame. And since Wanda became the Sorcerer Supreme, she got her own run with the title.

Love the legacy shown in this Iron Fist cover. Nick Fury looks scary in that chair thanks to In Hyuk Lee!

I didn’t get the variant I wanted from the blind bags. I guess I’ll have to find it online somewhere. But the one I got are still good. Derrick Chew did a great job on this foil variant. One of the blind bag variants I got was this Scottie Young one. Sanford Greene made that fantastic wraparound variant. Peach Momoko made another amazing variant!

I can’t wait to get tho this issue so I can see all of these character go head-to-head. Such a great wraparound!

Love this! Of course.

The first one is the main cover by Leirix, the variants are by Dauterman, Brooks, Dauterman, Besch, InHyuk Lee, and Pramanik. I think I didn’t get two other variants, one being the winter break variant and the other being the 1:100 incentive variant of Besch’s design. I love these all!!

I can’t remember the last time I got a horizontal poster from Marvel. This is a good one!

I love that Nakayama’s Rogue cover for a poster!

December 24, 2026

Happy Christmas (Eve)! Also Happy New Year!

Bruce visited Hal. Harley had her 200th issue! Absolute Batman and Absolute Wonder Woman continue their collaboration. Ra’s Al Ghul visits Absolute Superman. The final issue of Trinity dropped. DC KO continues! Gargoyles got another winter special. Sweet Paprika got another Black, White and Pink special! Marvel also got a winter special. Spinning out of the Doctor Doom event, we got The Will of Doom. And the new Age of Revelation issues dropped.

200 issues! Love David Nakayama getting able to draw Harley’s original costume. The other variant is an homage variant by Terry and Rachel Dodson paying homage to their main cover to Harley’s first issue of her first ongoing run on October 11, 2000.

Leirix did another great Absolute Wonder Woman variant. A lovely legacy Haining variant. The next Justice League Red for Red Canary.

Adult Static looking good by Dustin Nguyen. And an amazing Rahzzah variant of Batman Beyond!

The Flash! You can see it right? Thank you to Ethan Young.

The next David Aja variant and a fun cover by Jorge Fornés.

This variant is by Taurin Clarke, and looks awesome as always, but I got it for Darksied being in the background. And this is the next Frison variant for Hello Darkness.

This main cover and variant, I got solely for the character Ninjara (the red fox woman). I really like this modern redesign. I’ve never heard of the character before I saw the main cover, but I liked the design.

Unexpected Sabretooth variant! Thank you Scott Hepburn.

I got the first variant as a gift for someone and the second is because I am intrigued by the time period when Luke and Leia trained together as Jedi as seen in the flashback from Episode VIII.

The next Spider-Man 94 variants.

This is a fun variant by Ivan Talavera.

Such a variety for these Will of Doom variants! The first one looks so regal, by blah. The second one is a fantastic wraparound by the iconic J Scott Campbell. And Noto having fun with this Stitch variant.

The next Expatriate covers and variants with Kamala on them. I feel like the second one is referring to something but I’m not sure what.

Cable! Yup, that’s all.

December 2025 Late Issues 2

It’s been a busy couple weeks! Hence late posting.

Fall of X omnibus with David Nakayama’s variant cover that I’ve been pushing taking home from my box. A late variant from Galactic. And just a couple variants and another copy of Jedi Knights 10.

The cover was on the big issues of the run, but I had to get this cover with the omnibus.

The slightly NSFW Lotay variant.

These were the two variants I got from the blind bags. Nice covers by Ben Bishop, but booo!! Haha, I still want that Nakayama variant! Curse the 1/250 choice they made for his variants.

Another Vecchio Marvel Comics Presents variant. And a great Jedi Council (plus Obi-Wan) cover for the final variant by Madibek Musabekov and colored by Jesus Aburtov.

Completed Variant Sets 29 — December 23, 2025

I finally bought the issue 1 variant from this set! These all look so great together! Issue 1 (MMPR) variant is by Juni Ba. Issue 2 (Zeo) variant is by Chuma Hill. Issue 3 (Turbo) variant is by Danny Earls. Issue 4 (In Space) variant is by Matt Taylor. Issue 5 (Lost Galaxy) variant is by Stefano Simeone. Issue 6 (Lightspeed Rescue) variant is by Nimit Malavia. Issue 7 (Time Force) variant is by Li Cree. Issue 8 (Wild Force) variant is by Colm Griffin. Issue 9 (Ninja Storm) variant is by Crystal Kung. Issue 10 (Dino Thunder) variant is by Jorge Corona. Issue 11 (S.P.D.) variant is by Karen S. Darboe. And, finally issue 12 (Mystic Force) variant is by Simon’s Di Gianfelice.

I really wish that these covers had continued for the last 4 issues of this run. It’s such a weird move to just stop. But, I think Mystic Force was either the last season before production moved to New Zealand or the first or something like that. But it was nice to see these variants each month or so.

I love these variants so much! Taurin Clarke outdid himself with these. Every time one arrived I just kept staring at the cover.

I think when I display these, I’ll have them in this configuration. Though, if they do more of these covers for another run of this title, I have to witch things up. I do wish we’d gotten a Mace cover though. But I really love these covers. The details of the faces are just fantastic. And the colors are brilliant, the slightly different shades of green of the green blades is perfect.

No added boxes this time.

December 17, 2025

We got the next issue of Planet She-Hulk. A lot is going on in Avengers. Thor is having serpent problems. We got the penultimate issue of Battleworld. The final issue of Jedi Knights dropped. Black Panther got a new run started set in space. I think this is the last issue of this arc in Wonder Woman. The Joker/Lex fusion continued in World’s Finest. Guy Gardner pops into Superman Unlimited. DCKO’s next rounds arrive with Cyborg vs Swamp Thing and then Harley vs Zatanna.

The next Endeavour issue.

A Knullified Moon Knight variant by Barends.

A Knullified Vision and a Stitch homage variant.

The next fantastic Alex Ross Thor cover.

The variants of the final issue of Jedi Knights!

I love the Japanese aesthetic of these covers. I couldn’t help but get them. And the Hetrick one (the main cover) is just amazing.

The next Nakayama and Homare variants. I like that this Nakayama cover is different that his usual ones. And this is the last Homare variant for Wonder Woman. Though, I missed one of the variants, so the Homare variants weren’t included in the next blog post.

I love this cover of Lana and Krypto by Szerdy.

So many variants by artists I love! Jamal Campbell gave us a fun cover where Zatanna and Harley are breaking out of trading cards to fight. Mirka Andolfo did the next fun variant. Frank Cho and Sabine Rich gave us a classic cover of their usual design aesthetic. And David Nakayama gave us a fun cover.

December 10, 2025

We got introduced to Absolute Joker in Absolute Batman. The younger Green Lanterns take the stage in Green Lantern Corps. DCKO continued with Aquaman vs Hawkman and then Diana vs Lobo. After 4 months since the previous issue, we got the final issue of Star Wars: Hyperspace Stories – Codebreaker. The next, and close to final, issues from the Ultimate universe dropped. Flash Thompson and Cindy Moon popped in to Ghost-Spider’s title. Peter had boat-loads of fun in space. The Age of Revelation continued. And we got the beginning of The End: 2099. A nice short week of comics.

Taurin Clarke did a fantastic job with this cover of Damian and Bruce! I love this use of shadows.

The next Supergirl covers.

Elizabeth Torque drew Diana and Lobo so well! And Sabine Rich colored them brilliantly! Almost like a wrestling poster. And love this Vampirella cover by Leirix.

Jessica Fong illustrated Elspeth gorgeously on this variant cover. The variant is by Magali Villeneuve, I got this because of Erebos being on the cover.

So, blind bags are annoying. Let me say it again, blind bags are annoying. They are even more so when the possibilities in the bags are stupidly chosen. For example, I got two blind bags to hope to get the Nakayama variant. And the two covers I got were just the normal C and D covers. There are variants that are only in the blind bags, and there are incentive covers which seemingly aren’t in the bags, and then they frustratingly added the normal variants. Personally, I don’t think normal variants that you can get without the blind bag being inside the blind bag is just stupid and insulting to the customers.

The D cover is a nice variant by Clayton Crain. And cover C is a fun holiday variant by Jared Callum.

We got a Gist variant for Han and Chewie. Meghan Hetrick gave us a great Ghost-Spider variant. Kendrick Lim did this fantastic cover with Fantasma and Robbie Reyes’ Ghost Rider.
