Maestro took on Hercules, we got more TB’s for the Tony and Victor team-up story, Franklin, and Black Cat’s first appearance, we got the first issues of the new MARVEL run (this was a story of Nightmare and Doctor Strange confronting each other in the dream dimension), X of Swords ended, the Power Pack got a new miniseries where they had to deal with the Outlawed situation, Un/Sacred got a second run, Barry felt beaten, Damian began working on the black book, Zatanna did what she had to to end things, The Batman Who Laughs created a new Dark Multiverse with 52 new dark worlds, and we got the first issue of the Black Label title The Other History of the DC Universe (this series told very personal and grounded stories of non-White heroes and what they had to go through in their lives that people didn’t really see of think about. It was VERY well written).

The FF had created and opened the Forever Gate, now other dimensional refugees were running to safety, Venom’s time on this earth was ending, this Capt run reached issue 25, Joe Fix-it was in charge in Hulk, Sword Master had its final issue, Jessica Drew had a lead but it was in space, Juggernaut was on trial, we got a TB’s about the planet of the symbiotes, Peter was still at the absolute mercy of Kindred, Marvel Vocies had its Indigenous Voices issue, Doctor Who started a new run, Batman had to stop Ghost-maker from making a ghost out of Clownhunter, KGBeast took another shot at Nightwing, Teen Titans had its last issue, the Legion of Doom was saved by the JL (turned out great…), and the penultimate issue of Death Metal dropped.

Late issues. Widowmakers was from November 18, Guardians was from November 4, Power Rangers was from November 11, and Marvel Tales: Hellstrom was from November 4.

Vader met Ochi (this was the first full appearance of Ochi since his mentions in Episode IX. He was revealed at the end of issue 6), Savage Avengers had to battle an Asgardian dragon, X of Swords raged, we got more TB’s in prep for KIB (Black Panther’s first appearance, Valkyrie’s first, and Beta Ray Bill’s first), Kamala and Amulet were on the run, the Champions couldn’t rely on Riri, Peter was going through hell, Diana had Count Vertigo problems, Hawkman’s final issue dropped, Punchline got a post-Joker War special, and Lobo got a DKDM special.

After the end of the previous run of Power Rangers, Boom Studios started two new series (Mighty Morphin which followed the rangers continued store on earth, and Power Rangers with followed the original Red, Black and Yellow rangers as they went to space), Batman and Ghost-maker had methodology differences, we got a peek into BTAS’s Jason Todd’s past as Robin, Hawkgirl battled Mindhunter, we got a Tales from the Dark Multiverse special related to Hush, Young Justice got to issue 20 and its final issue of this run with a number of guests, Carol at future problems, Ultimatum was causing all kinds of goblin havoc for Miles, the Avengers had some incoming Phoenix issues, Thor was about to unknowingly make a horrifying mistake, Wolverine got a Black White and Blood treatment, Atlantis Attacks finally continued, as did X of Swords, we got TB’s reprints of the first appearance of Black Knight and Doc Samson, Peter’s spider friends were still infected by sins, and Finally, the King in Black was truly on his way as the end of Empyre was happening further out in the galaxy in this Web of Venom issue.

Jon had his first kiss with Saturn Girl, Batman had a new villain causing trouble, the super Kents had a strange new enemy, JLD took on the Upsidedown Man for the last time…, The Darkest Knight rose to godhood, we got the Three Jokers final issue, Batgirl got to issue 50 and ended this run, Runaways started a new arc, Doom invaded, Shang-chi was having family problems, Hulk was having inner conflict with all of himselves, X of Swords reached its half-way point, and Peter went to Doctor Strange for help against Kindred only to do something very unlike himself at the end.

Jon heard what Damian did and was looking for him, Batman 101 started a new arc, Selina moved back to Alleytown, Nightwing was properly back with his 75th issue and he was looking for KGBeast, we got an origin for Robin King, this was this run of Power Rangers’ final issue, there were some more Black Widow-related True Believers issues, Tony was (and still is) having Korvac problems, the Unstoppable Juggernaut met the Immortal Hulk, Marvel Boy had to deal with the space politics after Empyre, Spider-Woman had its 100th issue, FF had its 25th issue of this run and everything would change after it, X of Swords still was happening, Venom and his son were stuck on an alternate earth, and this run of ASM introduced side issues that came out the week after main ASM issues since the “Last Remains” story was too big for only the main issues.

I got this Willow variant cover because of the artist, we got a couple True Believers issues both Black Widow related, the Age of Khonshu finale happened, Carol started a new arc (this is the arc that connected to that Captain Marvel “The End” one-shot), we met Devil Hulk, Red Skull returned, Kindred made his first big moves against Peter, X of Swords raged, Palpatine punished Vader for failing and almost messing up other plans, Justice League Odyssey ended (this issue should have come out before that JL issues from the week before since that happens after this issue), Hawkman had to live with mortality after untold eons of resurrection, the Outsiders had its final issue, Max and Diana were not enjoying each other’s company, Synmar and Supeman still battled, and The Darkest Knight had cosmic plans in mind.

This Shazam run was at its end, Cassie was having Zeus problems, what was left of the JL, JLD and the freshly-returned-to-earth JLO team deal with many many many Starro during Death Metal, we got the finale of Joker War in Batman’s 100th issue, we got a reprinting of Black Widow’s first appearance, Sword Master had its penultimate issue, X of Swords was moving forward (Logan developed a new rival), a civilian picked up Mjonir and Thor was letting him “enjoy” the experience, Miles had to deal with a huge revelation from Ultimatum, Champions got a new run under the Outlawed event, Kamala was on Dum Dum Dugan’s list, ASM got it its 850th issue, and a Doctor Who event was stretching across mediums in Time Lord Victorious.

The FF had a visit from Iceman (Johnny was not amused), the Age of Khonshu still held, the Savage Avengers met Shuma Gorath in a way, Hulk got another special, a classic Giant-size X-Men got a reprinting (but with each page or every other page by a different artist recreating the pages from that issue), Shang-Chi got a new run (to help to promote the movie), the Justice League had a murder mystery to solve, Diana was still dealing with Liar Liar, LoSH got special issue with each page being designed by a different artist (each page was amazing, but a few caught my eye, they’re on my comic panels IG), Wonder Woman 1984 got a tie-in one-shot for the movie, we got a Joker War special, there was a DKDM special called Multiverse’s End (the characters from “Multiversity” had to deal with the Multiverse ending as best as they could), issue 2 of Three Jokers came out, and the penultimate issue of Harley and the Birds of Prey came out.
