the Man of Steel event started, Doomsday Clock got closer to midnight, Green Arrow had a crazy thing to do during No Justice, Oh I totally forgot Punisher had an Iron Man suit all this time, Kamala had decisions to make, and Amazing Spider-Man #800 kicked off (that was a doozy).
Mera continuing to deal with Atlantean drama, Darkstars still rising, Barry and Wally were at odds, No Justice continued, Stephen didn’t want to hang with Spidey, Black Panther started its Intergalactic Empire of Wakanda arc which lasted a VERY long time (it only ended a couple months ago), the Champions were cold and meeting a new hero (this was the start of them expanding their roster), Iron Man got his 600th issue, and more in the hunt for Wolverine story.

May 17, 2018 – Just got out of Deadpool 2. Omfg XD brilliant!! Laughed so much! Can’t wait to see it again! FYI, a couple mid-credit scenes, all fab. No end-credit scene, so no reason to stay unless you enjoy watching credits.
Another photo I never posted, I did get my first Blue Apron box that day, so maybe I was just distracted. New Challengers of the Unknown got a run, Booster Gold tried to get Bruce the perfect gift, No Justice continued, Quicksliver started his own No Surrender miniseries, Peter and Kate had their wedding special, and the Avengers were dealing with the coming of the Final Host (of Celestial’s judgment of the planet).
the No Justice event had started (that was a crazy cosmic event and I loved it! It really did change everything!), Ah right, Doreen and Kraven are friends too, the Exiles have Captain America (Peggy Carter) join them from another earth, Deadpool continues to be hated for what he did during Secret Empire under Hydra Capt’s orders, Peter was still having his adventure in the past, Venom started a new run, and Vader was with some Inquisitors.
FCBD 2018! Plus the store I went to had Cloak & Dagger promotional posters (I go to a different store for FCBD).
Deapool got a “choose your own adventure” type issue, Rogue and Gambit still going strong, Captain America had a story taking place in the future, Peter was not doing well, Bendis’s final issues of Miles Morales dropped, and Avengers started a new #1 with a new team (which is basically the current team still, for now).
April 26, 2018 – Just got home a little while ago. I won’t say much other than Avengers 4 can’t get its butt here faster. I mean REALLY THOUGH. Also, our audience’s reactions to things, I was giggling constantly. I am evil. 
so damn glad I’m seeing it tomorrow!! And FYI, there was only one thing that genuinely surprised me. Once y’all see it, you’ll probably know what.

This was a lot of comics that day. The Darkstars were taking over from the Green Lanterns, Wally reveals himself to people who used to know him, Diana had family problems, Moon Girl helps Ben and Johnny, Exiles debuted a version of the MCU’s Valkyrie (the name of whom we’d learn a couple years later), Venomized introduced a Poison’d Thanos, Mepisto was in the lead in Damnation, the Hunt for Wolverine had begun, Marvel Rising had its debut issue, and Jane was dealing with her mortality. There was just a lot of drama everywhere XD. Movie next!
The Gift had started, Action Comics #1000 came out (I got one of all the covers my store had, and 3 days later I bought one copy of the main cover for one of the podcast hosts for the DC comics podcast that I watched since he had a restaurant opening a location around he corner from my store and was there for the opening), Weapon H had some Wendigo problems, Hulk was extra angry, No Surrender and Infinity Countdown were chugging along, a wedding was in the works for Kate and Piotr, enter the Red Goblin, and Kamala was enjoying her Red Dagger visiting Jersey City.
