Now here’s a surprise for me, I apparently never posted any of these photos. I guess for whatever reason either they never posted and I didn’t notice somehow, or I just forgot because of whatever was happening at the time. All sorts of crazy was happening in all these issues XD I mean Kamala and Gwenpool were doing ok, but everyone was having trouble. And of course more lenticular covers (Both from Oz Effect and Legacy respectively).
November 2, 2017 – Just got home. Thor: Ragnarok. Holy Hel. It was so good!! The humor was beyond on point, the tense and heartfelt moments were brilliant. The darkness was devastating. Just, I mean, wow. The acting was also amazing as well! The surprise cameo was a nice touch, feels. And the way Thor 2 is mentioned? Hehe. Oh, and the Stan Lee cameo is funny XD Didn’t expect the final solution, works well, potential for the future. The mid-credit scene was foreboding, the post-credit scene was funny as usual. Can’t wait to see it again!!
More lenticular covers and another Dark Knights button. Oh and Vader’s issue has a bunch of Inquisitors! Dark Knights Metal continuing. I also got a classic issue from the store that day, that Adam Warlock issue. Movie reaction next!

More lenticular covers! Oh and these were following that Legacy special, these are the Legacy event issues. Apart from those, general stuff was happening in the other comics. Oh and The Oz Effect issue also had a lenticular cover.
This is where things get crazy regarding covers. XD Marvel decided to do a ton of lenticular covers that were classic covers changing to modern versions of those covers. The quality of the shifting wasn’t the best, but I did the best I could taking the photos back then. Oh, also I got a couple Dark Knights buttons.
Windu 2, Marvel Legacy (which is what all the Generations issues led to), Metal continuing, more Oz Effect, some of the last few Generations and the rest! Oh, so the Generations issues were all about current heroes connecting to their mentors in the past. The got sent back in time and learned from the younger versions of their heroes and mentors and come back to the present in Legacy.
The first 2 images are of allll the variant covers from the previous few months that had been in my box, and various specials and issue I could wait for. The last photo are the issues I would actually read from the first images and the NCBD (New Comic Book Day) comics of that week. This was the week that The Runaways returned with an ongoing series. The original run is classic, this run and the one that happened afterward it were also great. 89 comics XD
The New Gods were dying, part 1 of the Oz Effect, Metal issues, Carol’s Generations issue, the ending to Secret Empire (they started having Alpha and Omega issues to start and cap events respectively, hence the last issue of the main event was before this and this issue is here), Steve just had a horrible time, and Kamala has continuing stressors. Oh and the lenticular cover for The Oz Effect.
