August 21, 2018 – Just got out from seeing Crazy Rich Asians with my parents. It was great! Also, it was the first time taking advantage of $5 ticket Tuesday’s at AMC, that was nice lol.

It was funny and witty and dramatic XD there is a small mid-credit scene. I couldn’t stay to see if there was anything at the end, I read a tweet from one of the actresses that suggested there may have been something at the end, but it might have been the mid-credit scene. So I dunno, someone would have to tell me otherwise. But yeah, great cast, loved the music. I wonder if the second and third books will be made into films too.

General chaos, this Batgirl run got to 25 issues, a Beckett one-shot from Star Wars, Weapon H met Capt, Multiple Man and his others, Stephen running from making a space mess, things are stirring in the nine realms in Thor, the Edge of Spidergeddon had begun, Infinity Wars was ramping up and a new X-Men event that would change many things was just beginning in Extermination.

The Flash variants and Wonder Woman variants for these arcs were fantastic!

Image one is the NCBD issues and the second are variants. A Guardian dead, Damian started a new team of Teen Titans (most of the characters are still around and going ok), ah yes, Supergirl is furious after what Rogol did (it was quite tragic), oh I forgot that Earth got a little Phantom Zone action, Catwoman had started her new era, Daredevil got into big trouble, the Champions met Man-Thing, and of course, THE RICHARDS FAMILY RETURNS!! XD Reed, Sue, Dragon Man and all the kids found their way back home.

Ah right, Harley was going through an apokoliptic situation XD (and at this point she was all 4th Wall breaking-y), Lex had started influencing the public about siding with Doom over Justice, a fab Dazzler cover for that Astonishing X-Men issue, and basically everything after that issue is just horror XD. Good times.

Just variant and cool covers from previous weeks. Though that Star Wars cover with Leia on it was amazing ^__^

July 26, 2018 – Y’all. Teen Titans Go! Movie was epically fun. I laughed and oh so many Easter eggs XD as usual in Go! so that was great! Of course there was the stuff aimed at kids but sooooo much can service. Like damn XD I could watch it like 10 more times and still find something new every time XD. The tag at the end is for laughs and isn’t really necessary to stay for, but if you want, go for it. The mid credit scene though? Perfect. Important. Yes. Oh and there was a short before the movie, that was fun too ^__^

I can only hope for the best after this. Double season 6! Come on! XD

Photo not posted again. This was the beginning Action Comics having a Superman with no secret identity after the last Superman issue, Justice League Dark debuted (and is still going), Moon Girl got a fun cover with Agent M himself on it XD, Sentry drama was, well, dramatic, Rogue and Gambit got married (yes, that was the outcome of that other wedding that was supposed to happen), this new era of Venom was just beginning to build what was to come, and the Infinity Wars was blasting off. A fun movie next!

At this point I was 1.5 weeks behind in reading. This week introduced Amadeus Cho in his new persona as Brawn, and Riri debuted her Mark III Ironheart suit, Sideways was quite the issue, Green Lantern had everyone fighting all over, Titans were not having a good time, Flash and Flash and Flash were busy warring, and Superman got a new run.

July 5, 2018 – Y’all. Ant-Man and The Wasp. Was. Amazing. Holy crap. I laughed so damn much. And of course a palate cleanser after Infinity War. Mid-credit scene, yes. End-credit scene, yes, but not entirely necessary to watch. But eh. Just do it lol. But yeah. So many fun moments!! And Michael Peña’s scene? You know what I mean. Soooooo good!! Just, I can’t even XD so very enjoyable!

Image one is of that week’s issues, image two are variants and stuff from the weeks and month previous. Of course this being a sale day at the store, I took advantage of that. There’s a new power ring and it’s bad news, Rogol Zaar was causing devastation in Superman comics, Astonishing X-Men started a new run, X-Men Gold…well, you can see what happened, Scott and Nadia were having quantum realm issues, Stephen found the time gem, Captain America started a new run for a new era, Cosmic Ghost Rider got his own comic (it was awesome and insane XD), The Inhumans were having the worse time being slaughtered, and Batman and Catwoman issues were rolling right along toward that day. Movie next!
