June 3 and 10, 2020

So, I thought things would be jumbled but they seem not to be, I checked every issue in these photos and they’re all from either of the two dates. And at this point I got comics every other week. So, I suppose I will just post photos two weeks at a time till the point when the issue quantity picked up again. Just lean into the chaos XD.

June 3:

Clark was bonding with the returned Conner, Batman, JLD and Wonder Woman were not having great times, and Catwoman got its 80th Anniversary special.

June 10:

Miles was dealing with being outlawed, Diana brought the JL to Themyscira, we got a Batman Secret Files issue, we met new members of the Legion, the Designer storyline was going in Batman, Thawne and Barry teamed up against Paradox, JLD had Darkseid battling Epoch, More Joker in Nightwing, the Batman Animated series got a canon comic series set the final season, Joker had its 80th Anniversary special, and I got a DWM.

May 2020 2

FYI I just realized that when I post photos normally, y’all can’t click the photos unless they’re posted via a gallery. So, from now on, all photos will be galleries. I would have gone back and changed them all if I didn’t have over 200 posts now, so, sorry about that. Whoops! XD

The Age of Khonshu began in Avengers, Spidey and Boomerang’s pet grew a bit, we got the final issue of Venom for this run, I got Doctor Aphra’s issue 1 from this new run (as I tend to get issue one’s even if I (even if I only get the volumes for the runs), Booster Gold was bugging Harley, Spectre was not happy with the Justice League, and Barry was going through some time shenanigans with Paradox.

An issue of Batman and the Outsiders came the following week so I decided to just include it here.

Variants for Marvel #1000, Detective Comics #1000, Flash #750 and Wonder Woman #750 in photo two.

For these big issue milestones, DC does covers from each decade the the character had been around. I used to get them all, but at some point I just stuck to the A cover, the 90’s variant, and if there is any artists that I like variants. I think I stopped at the point when I couldn’t got into the store, so, I couldn’t leave issues in my box anymore. And that still continues today since I can’t go into the store still.

May 13 and 20, 2020

These are the first issues that came out when my store opened again in mid May 2020. Some are from the week of May 13 and some are from the week of May 20. I guess the order will be like this for a while. I checked for the next post and some issues are from May 27 but some are also from May 5, So until the release order levels out again, I’ll just be posting these as something like May 2020 2, May 2020 3 etc. from the post after this till it catches up.

Everyone was doing badly in all of these XD. That’s it.

March 25, 2020

That last comic post must have been the last time I went into the store for comics because of the pandemic. Because for these, Greg from my store delivered issues from March 25 to my house on April 26th. I finally posted these on May 21st XD.

I got the first two of the FF Grand Design issues, the CW’s Berlantiverse/Arrowverse had tie-in issues to its version of Crisis on Infinite Earths, Detective Comics 38 got a reprinting, Kara tried to deal with the infection herself, the Flashes were having time troubles, Two-Face got a cult, Yong Justice guested in Action Comics, Spidey got a pet, Hellions got a new run, Giant-sized X-Men got a Nightcrawler issue, and Hulk and Xemu and Dario all smashed it out.

I also got all the DWM issues I had in my box. (Also half my box of variants from the past 6+\- months came but that’s different post).

<HUGE side-note, I don’t think I ever took those photos of all those variants, the pile was just huge, so I didn’t want to tackle it at that time. So, the pile has been in my house for two years. I may end up taking that photo at some point after I catch up with all these posts>.

Also, this was my last comic post on my twitter. I still took the photos but never got to posting them, with being so behind and then this being the last pile I got before the store closed for a few months since the pandemic hit the distributors, I knew I would be very far behind on posting whenever the store opened again. Now I’ll have to only use my photo folders and comic archives to be able to place all the comic photos from after this point.

March 18, 2020

Chase was acting odd in Runaways, the FF were back on earth with a guest, X-Force were investigating some very angry plants, Captain Marvel has its 150th issue, Gwen got herself her very own symbiote (it’s artificial if I remember correctly), Jane and Thor continued their conflict, Mary Jane started a new arc, Spider-Woman started a new run (and I just read the final issue of that run yesterday.), this issue of Atlantis Attacks was the last one before the break (the next issue wouldn’t be till November of 2020 and would continue the story and the final issue would be in December and was part of KIB), the Outlawed event began (a time where young heroes were outlawed from being heroes because of what happened to Kamala, unless they had mentors who registered them), Joker visited Nightwing (Joker War was coming), the next Hell Arisen issue had Perpetua taking the power she gave to Lex back after his failures, and Robin got an 80th Anniversary special.

Variants in the next photo of Mercy from the previous week, and all the Spider-Woman ones my store had.

Movie next (ish).

March 11, 2020

Black Lightning wanted to leave the Outsiders, other young heroes showed up in Young Justice, Godspeed returned in Flash, Hawkman started to get better, Spidey and Boomerang had some more good times, the Carnage symbiote and Venom symbiote both wanted Eddie, Stephen took on Ghost Rider, Daredevil went after Ronin, Thor and Lady Sif weren’t on the best of terms, Cable got a new run, Sabé (one of Padmé’s handmaiden’s) returned in Vader, and I guess I picked up that issue of EW for the finale of Supernatural.

Photo two is of the A and variant covers of Mercy.

Photos three and four are of posters.

February 26, 2020

Spidey and Jonah’s interview was cut short, During Incoming (I’m relatively sure) Tony was sent back to 1,000,000 BC (it may have just been someone finding something of his in that time or himself finding the item, I can’t really remember, though it was all Mephisto’s doing), Ghost Rider introduced a new Rider of sorts, Star and Wanda had words, Falcon & Winter Soldier got a run, Giant-sized X-Men had a new run Dial H for Heroes had its final issue, JLD needed help and Animal Man arrived, I got this issue of Batman Beyond since it introduced a new Batwoman, two villains battle in Metropolis as Clark tried to stop them, we got two issues of Hell Arisen, Leviathan got another special, and we got two reprints of classic Flash issues.

February 19, 2020

Gert had a choice to make, Deadpool had to deal with Kraven coming for the monsters he ruled, there was a big reveal in Captain America, Carol was still under Vox’s control (if you forgot who Vox was, it was the being that massacred the Inhumans), Reed was not having a good time on that alien world, Jane and Thor team-up, Nebula got a title, Wolverine got a new run, the first issue of Marvel Voices was released (such an amazing series. It was first, and still is, a podcast that then they decided to make into a comic series also), Eradicator visited the Justice League, the Teen Titans had to contend with the first genie, we got the origin of how the Legion of Superheroes formed, DCeased got a spin-off that took place during the main story, the Wonder Twins had their finale issue for this run, and Wally had the final issue of his Flashforward adventure through the multiverse.

February 12, 2020

Peter and Jonah have quite the interview live, Xemu had taken over the world in Hulk, Thor and Beta Ray Bill battled, we got a Ghost Rider: Mother of Demon’s special, The Hood was messing with Hawkeye, the original Gwen Stacy got a title (even if it didn’t last long. It was set in the past of course), Hawkman and Kara still had Infected issues, Superman had some Mongol troubles (just you wait till present day stories, these current Mongol stories are BRUTAL), Flash got a new villain named Paradox, Diana met the Dark Fates, the Terrifics had a 25th Anniversary issue that had a “choose your own adventure” theme to it, Harley and Ivy’s miniseries ended, Hal started a new run, Superman Heroes was a special that had various hero or generally good characters reactions to Superman’s big reveal (the villain’s issue was the following week), Harley and the Birds of Prey got a Black Label miniseries (inspired by the movie, but not related to it), and we got a Batman: Pennyworth R.I.P. special.
