Also, these posts are all very very late because of a number of things that delayed me buying them and delayed me typing these posts up.
Batgirl must die? The Secret Six seem to be in a disagreement. We got a new run for Gotham City Sirens! We got a prelude to Days of Future Past by Claremont. The heir to Apocalypse is incoming? The final issue of this run of Ghost-Spider dropped as-well-as the final issue of Immortal Thor, with a new run starting soon for both titles. (Marvel really should stop doing these miniseries and just have good long-running arcs. Number 1’s don’t really mean anything anymore). Captain America got a new run. And Deadpool sort of got a new run, but as a group comic with both Wolverines and Ellie. The Hellfire Gala got a vigil issue. I have a lot to say about the variant covers that Marvel commissioned for this issue. It’s down by the one cover I got. And I think this is late, but we got a Marvel Zero issue which is giving us small peeks into things coming soon, but some of them have already started, so this one-shot anthology may have gotten delayed, or one story in it had new information only recently revealed. And we got the first new DSTLRY comic in months since the huge printing publishing issues it went through. And then there are a couple posters and pins at the bottom.

Love this VHS variant! And I’ve been waiting for months for this Batman 89 variant!! The issue itself kept getting delayed. I love the visual theme and symmetry of the art.

These are the next Guillem March connecting covers for the Sirens.

The next Ranger team variant, and the same Red Ranger that I like covers of.

Of course this prelude’s main cover is an homage cover to the original Days of Future Past cover. And I love the character design for Sister Sorrow! I know I said that before, but it’s great!

The next Jedi Knights covers of each respective set.

A gorgeous cover by Fan Yang. And another fantastic cover of Gwen by Mark Brooks. And of course, this luminous Thor cover by Alex Ross.

Surprisingly, there weren’t many variants of this number 1 that caught my eye. But I’m happy to have the blank and then the 250th Anniversary of the United States cover.

These are all because of Ellie, as y’all know.

This title really was disappointing in the variant cover selection. This is seemingly the farewell to those lost during the last Gala, and those Galas gave us so many wonderful designs of characters, and they gave us 4 different cover designs. That’s it. AND, neither David Nakayama nor Russell Dauterman got to do variants for this when they have so very many covers during these Galas over the past 5 years. It really is embarrassing of Marvel to have snubbed them (and probably many other artists). But this Aka variant is nice. I’m still waiting on the other two variants.

And these are the DC posters I got.

And I also got these from the store. Unlike other promotional pins, Marvel decided to charge for these. $2 each. But it’s nice to have these classic designs for the Fantastic Four.
