Psycho Pirate drops by in Titans! DC’s Absolute universe gets a new title on its Flash. Montoya is getting closer to the truth. Challengers of the Unknown run into Hal. We get more from the TVA. Electra continues to deal with Muse. Felicia has plans while she’s with the Avengers. Miles and Wade’s adventure continues. Cable is having problems. X-Manhunt continues. We get the next Ultimate X-Men issue. One world under Doom continues. We got a new issue of New Champions with the previous Champions appearing! And after issue 1 dropped in July of 2023, we FINALLY have issue 2 of Superman: The Last Days of Lex Luthor from DC’s Black Label!!

The next Cho variant for Catwoman. And this Panosian cover I had a small issue with but I still enjoy it.

You can probably tell from this image of it, but, it looks amazing. And it’s why I added it to my list. But when I looked at it up-close, I noticed that the way that the items in the shop window are drawn, it gives the illusion that, from far away, the jewels and such are very intricate drawings. But when seen up close, they are vague shapes that aren’t detailed at all. As I said before, I still like the cover, but when I added it, I kind of was looking forward to looking at all the intricate drawings of the jewels and such up close since I enjoy when artists draw crazy levels of detail for some scenes or covers. So, it was a little bit of a let-down in that one respect. But I do still enjoy that I can look at the image from afar and still see that illusion, that’s pretty cool.

I really like this main cover for Absolute Flash. The details and colors are just amazing on that main cover. The foils also look great!

I say this a lot, but I sure do love these creative Nightwing covers! Jorge Fornés did a great job with this Polaroids cover! And for The Question variant, I do like seeing corner boxes as covers. And of course I had to get this Zatanna variant by David Nakayama. Such fun! And then these last two are from the wonderful Jenny Frison. I feel like it’s been a while since seeing her covers on the big two publishers, but that balanced out by between these two weeks, her having a total of 5 covers out! The Starfire and Big Barda are two of them.

The third was this Magik cover of course! And this is one of the Momoko Kimono variants.

And another of the Kimono set! All hail Jeff the Land-Shark. That is all.

Such a fantastic time for this variant to come out with Daredevil: Born Again currently airing on Disney+. Peach Momoko did such an amazing job with this Muse cover! It’s an incentive cover, but worth it.

The next lot of Ultimate X-Men covers! I really like that they did a foil variant for one of these. I don’t normally show a close-up of these till a complete covers post, but the foil deserved it.

I mean look at those colors and the art itself! That one image at the bottom just made me immediately want a Peach Momoko animated series based on with her Demon Days run or this Ultimate X-Men run.

Finally! The previous Champions interacting with these new Champions! I don’t think it’s for more than this issue, but I’m still happy to see my favorite team on covers again!

I had initially forgotten that my Champions had an issue interacting with the original Champions team also, so it was just a reminder that I should have expected this to happen. Surprisingly, that chaotic cover is the actual main cover, love it! And I’ve loved Viv Vision from the first page she appeared on, and I loved this most recent costume change from a while ago that’s displayed on this variant. Even though we still don’t have any Viv action figures…>___> And of course, it’s nice to see the previous team on those other two variants. I really do miss that team a lot. Most of that has to do with Kamala, sure, but I also just enjoyed their team dynamic.
