Ok. So. WOOOOOOO!!!!! It was a decently paced 50 minutes of so many things that make Kamala a wonderful character. Things happened fast from episode 5’s ending, and they barely paused at all. There was heart and rage and sorrow and community and love and fear and humor and of course, action.
All of the actors did wonderfully! The cast has been amazing and I’m glad we’re going to see some of them in The Marvels next year.
There were a couple phrases from the comics used and I was utterly happy with that. It’s not really a spoiler to say that she looks amazing in her costume. It’s been in ads and such.
I like how things were resolved. It wasn’t too complicated and made sense. There is one moment which I know all Ms. Marvel fans will feel unsure about. I don’t know if I like it, but if that’s where things go, we have to deal with it. But they could have just said one word and it would have made all the difference. We’ll see. But regardless, Kamala is amazing and I love all iterations of her!

Mid-credit scene: SO MUCH YES. Certainly not how I anticipated that going, but sure. Haha. It’ll be a wait before we see what happens next. Can’t wait!
I’m so glad that this series exists. I’m so thankful that this character exists. She is still my favorite marvel character and I can’t wait to see how she grows and changes in both the comics and her MCU iteration.
Oh and remember: Good is not a thing you are, it’s a thing you do.
